Updating large tables

This is the simplest method to run a query in a small batches.I frequently use this method in development when I want to update some records quickly without thinking much. An integer after GO will execute the preceding query specified number of times.

Combined with Heap’s capture-everything philosophy, it enables some powerful flows: customers can define an event in our web UI, and then run arbitrary SQL on all historical instances of that event!Big Query users typically split large tables into many smaller partitions, where each partition contains a day's worth of data.
